about

Volume is a Therapy was written by Bud Longtooth (Greg Semple) as a sequel to Sergeant Vol-au-vent back around 2003-05 and original released as a solo project to Myspace.

This is the 3rd version with new baselines played by Wasterman on a bass guitar, then bastardised by Longtooth on midi to create this superb version with Wasterman on the backing vocals, Bud's vocals are the original demo vocals from his lounge back in 2003 on a £75 mic!

lyrics

Cruising around in your 3 tonne can
thirsty for fuel king wasterman
neglecting the world looking after your own
smug cunt up there on your 4x4 throne
want to be civilised the monetary plan
searching for eye candy wasterman
slow down mate take a closer look
that ain't eye candy
it's an artificial fuck

Volume is a therapy (repeat)

Pinocchio Pinocchio where have you been
you copped off with the silicon queen
while the sea's lapping at your front door
you're tied up tight with a smacked up whore
kiwi fruit, New Zealand lamb
cheap flights priority for wasterman
what's your threshold gonna burn tonight
you're trashed immaculate
and outta sight

Volume is a therapy (repeat)

Described by Sounds on Facebook ‘to have hardcore beats fuelled by an incendiary swagger that lands somewhere between Crass, Atari Teenage Riot and an angrier Sleaford Mods!' — excerpt from 'Sounds' Review on facebook 24/3/19 ... more
